Laser-welded PEX pipe—specifically PEX-AL-PEX—features a solid central core of aluminium that is seamlessly butt-welded using a laser. This five-layer composite combines metal and plastic to provide an absolute oxygen barrier, high-temperature and pressure resistance, and minimal thermal expansion.
